For twelve years I have photographed shorelines, high valleys, and the people who work in them, for magazines, conservation trusts, and a few long series of my own.
Most work is made on foot over several visits, in the first and last hours of daylight. Each series below opens as a full sequence with notes on where and how it was made.

Commissions, prints, and licensing
I take on a small number of editorial and conservation assignments each year. Archival prints of every series are made to order in three sizes, and most frames can be licensed for publication.
