A practice that draws before it judges
Circuit Works keeps a set of sheets about small machines and their parts. Each one starts from a single photograph and stays honest about what that photograph can and cannot show.
Method
- Look first. Note only what is visible: parts, joins, marks, damage.
- Number the notes so each one can be found again on the photograph.
- Keep facts short, and write “not stated” rather than guess a size or value.
- Add a dated revision whenever a better look changes a note.
