Do you pay contributors?
Yes. Rates are agreed before any reporting begins, and photographs are paid separately from words.
Can I republish a story?
Ask first. Text and photographs often have different owners, and we will put you in touch with both.
How long does a reply take?
Usually two to three weeks. If you have not heard back after a month, it is fine to offer the idea elsewhere.
