Where the side quests get written down.
A personal log of small projects: a kite on a long line, a ramp under the bridge, one chess opening a week, and whatever turns up on the walk home.
This started as a list of things I meant to try “one weekend”. Writing each one down with a date made it easier to actually go, and easier to admit when something did not work.
Every entry follows the same outline: what it took, what it needed, what happened, then a few numbered checkpoints and a short note on how it finished. Nothing here is sponsored, and none of it is advice.
Things in progress
- Getting the kite to hold a steady angle in gusty wind, not just in a good breeze.
- A clean kickturn on the ramp, both directions.
- Learning one chess defence well enough to play it without thinking.
- A proper name for the lamp corner.
