A street performer dressed entirely in newspaper sits on a chair reading a newspaper.

The costume is made entirely of pages: jacket, trousers, hat, even a mask. From a distance the performer looks like a sculpture; up close, the headlines are readable and a few weeks old.

An archive you can walk past

Passers-by stop to read the sleeve. Some of them find a story they remember. It is the only archive in town that tours.

The performer reads a fresh paper throughout, turning a page every few minutes, and never looks up.
